Optional swing-model improvement

Different golfers, swings and filming conditions help us improve tracking and make coaching more useful. With your separate opt-in consent, newly analyzed swings and later saved corrections to those swings are shared with MTRC, including video, analysis, goal, club, shot result, corrections and related feedback. Authorized MTRC reviewers may watch and label the shared videos to evaluate, train and improve MTRC’s models.

This choice starts unchecked. You receive the same swing analysis whether you share or not. While sharing is on, it applies to newly analyzed swings; it does not automatically upload videos already in your library. Your choice is remembered on this device for your signed-in account. We record the consent text version, choice and date, and keep consent records associated with contributions.

Turn sharing off in Settings to stop future uploads. To withdraw an already submitted swing from future training use, use Withdraw beside that contribution in Settings. Contact Support@MTRCGolf.app to withdraw all contributions or request access or deletion. Your personal swing library is separate from training contributions.

Model-improvement sharing is based on your consent, not on accepting these terms or merely using the app. Shared videos are not posted publicly or licensed for advertising through this choice. Account, hosting and storage providers process the data for us. Processing may take place outside your country; applicable data-protection requirements and safeguards apply to international transfers. Contact us for information about safeguards relevant to your data.

Newsletter and email communications

If you choose to subscribe, we use your email address to send the MTRC Golf newsletter, including golf tips, new-feature announcements, and offers for MTRC products and services. Subscribing is optional. The signup checkbox starts unchecked, and you can create an account and use the app without subscribing. Downloading the app, creating an account, accepting our terms, or sharing a swing does not by itself subscribe you to the newsletter.

We record your subscription choice, the date, the signup source, and the version of the consent wording presented to you. We use these records to manage subscriptions and document your choice. Where we use an email delivery provider, it processes the information needed to deliver and manage our emails on our behalf. We do not sell your email address.

You can unsubscribe at any time using the unsubscribe link in a newsletter or by contacting Support@MTRCGolf.app. Unsubscribing stops newsletter and promotional emails. We may still send communications necessary to provide services you requested, such as password resets, receipts, support replies, and swing-review delivery messages.

We retain subscription information while needed to manage your subscription. After you unsubscribe, we may keep limited consent and suppression records to document and honor your choice. A change to this policy does not automatically subscribe existing users or replace consent required by applicable law.
